Hal Jordan, crayon and marker, 2007. 2’ x 3’
My apartment building has about 40 apartments. There’s an asian man around 70, a techno-hippie who’s always carrying a longboard, a middle aged women, and Earl, who is around 50 and very sweet and complains about his cancer every time i see him. There must be people in the other 36 apartments but i never see them. And one of them either is or has a kid who did a science project on “The Cycle of Water” cause his posterboards in the trash room. I took the three discarded charts and kept them for awhile, as artwork on their own. Eventually one of them became the canvas for a picture of The Green Lantern. i know, Aquaman would have been more appropriate.
